Marissa Garza and her sorority sisters who were featured in our Lipsync production!

Marissa had the fun opportunity to choreograph a Legally Blonde x OCU x Phi Mu production piece. Lipsync is a huge tradition at OCU, and she choreographed Whipped into Shape. She spent long nights in the house getting to set choreography, build spirit walls, pomp, and bond with students outside of her major!

Marissa was so lucky to spend a whole week with her sorority sisters, helping run recruitment and welcoming new girls into Phi Mu. Marissa was the Merchandise Coordinator, which allowed her to create merchandise from the pink shirt she is wearing on the right to bid-day shirts and so much more! dinner hours

Marissa spent all of this summer working at Fair Oaks Ranch Golf and Country Club as a fine dining server, restaurant server, bartender, and poolside server. She has absolutely loved serving the sweet families she calls her "regulars" and has enjoyed the friendships that have evolved from this position. She is grateful for all the lessons she has learned and the memories she has made here at Fair Oaks Ranch Golf and Country Club!

Marissa was allowed to choreograph for Project 21. A collaboration between our dance school and musicians. Musicians created original works, and we presented ideas in elevator pitches, and she was picked for "Fiesta 'Till Dawn". Marissa was so lucky to choreograph a piece that was so close to her heart. She enjoyed learning how to choreograph with college students, especially in such a short time frame. She has grown so much from this opportunity and dreams of doing it again!
